Helping Children Grieve
Each session is focused on helping you gently uncover, process, and release unresolved emotions, so you can move forward with greater peace and clarity.
My Approach
-
I use the Grief Recovery Method®, a structured and evidence-based approach that goes beyond simply “talking about” grief.
-
This method helped me in my own healing journey after losing my husband, Pierre, and it continues to help others find relief in ways they didn’t think were possible.
-
Together, I work step by step in a supportive, non-judgmental environment where your story is heard, and your healing is prioritized.
Why I Do This Work
-
My journey with grief has been deeply personal.
-
In a short period of time, I lost both of my beloved pets and then my husband. I’ve also experienced divorce, family trauma, and the long, quiet grief that comes with caregiving.
-
I have the experience with my veteran husband suffering PTSD and a TBI which impacted his life in a profound way.
-
For years, I was told that time would heal, but I learned that healing requires action, guidance, and the right tools.
-
That realization changed everything for me. Now, I’m committed to helping others find the same kind of healing and hope.
Who I Support
I work with individuals from all walks of life, including:
- Adults navigating personal loss
- Military families and veterans
- Caregivers and those experiencing anticipatory grief
- Professionals balancing grief with work responsibilities
I also offer support for those helping children navigate loss, providing guidance that creates understanding and emotional safety.
How You Can Begin
-
You don’t have to carry this alone.
-
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward, I’m here to help you take that first step.
-
Healing doesn’t mean forgetting; it means finding a way to move forward with love, meaning, and renewed hope.
